Laws like Internet Termination will keep coming up unless there is a wide understanding within the NZ art community of what's being done in their name. We need to reach fellow artists and talk about these problems.
What You Can Do
The long-term solution is for you to help fellow artists understand the issues.
Here's how you can help:
- Spread the word! Take the time to explain the issue to other artists. Email them this site, and explain what you think about it.
- Write to Government. This might be obvious but it's worth saying: there's no point getting angry so be polite, respectful and clear in your correspondence. It'll be more persuasive that way.
