  1. The execs spent decades screwing the artists out of their fair share of the profit but now claim we are the ones depriving the artists! I stopped going to the movies years ago because all the good parts of the movie were in the trailer!,now i get to preview and buy what is worth my hard earned money! As has been proven filesharing only hurts crap movies and they don’t deserve my cash anyway,A good movie however will do well from the free advertising and later the dvd sales.I now only buy second hand movies as i refuse to feed the parasites anymore.I will continue to torrent through a VPN if need be and if caught i will never pay one cent .I only used to download t.v programs but now as a form of protest i run utorrent 24\7 and instead of keeping it to myself i share with EVERYMAN and his DOG!
I was born a free man with the right to privacy and i will die one too!

  2. All I see is Governments looking at’Big Business’ and listening to them instead of their people. Classic example in the US they had in independant review of file shareing and its effects on the industry etc. The report came back that is had negligible effects and in in some cases made them money but it got ignored. Why whould our NZ Government be any different? It is a proven fact people who file share spend the most on music/movies, I myself have $8000 DVD collection alone and its growing and I file share a lot too. I only buy a movie if its worthy. There are many I have aquired that I cant sit through cause they are so bad why should I pay for s*** like that?

  3. Good on you Nate,i have a $13,000 DVD collection now, before i file shared i didn’t own one!.Oh and Washington is corrupt to the core with the revolving door policy within government and corporate America so it’s no suprise they are backing the copyright Nazis because alot of them are former lobbiests now writing the laws they paid for.Ain’t that just grand.
